Manchester United have suspend talks over new contracts for left-back Luke Shaw and midfielder Fred, pending new boss Erik ten Hag.

Both contracts expire in 2023, but there is still an option for an additional year as well. Both are ready to renew their contracts with the ufabet club if an offer comes in.

However, Luke Shaw according to reports from The Sun, the famous British media revealed that the “Red Devils” suspended the new contract. By waiting to hear the opinions of Ten Hag, the new boss.

Shaw is a player who has performed well for the team in the midst of a disappointing season. Since joining the team in 2014. He has made 213 assists on the field, scoring three goals and providing 22 assists.

While Fred has been heavily criticized for his performance all the time, he struggled and showed impressive performances. This season is his best year since joining the team. Scoring four goals and providing six assists in 35 games in all competitions.

The report suggests United will adopt a similar approach with Brazilian midfielder Fred over his future at Old Trafford.

Like Shaw, he has one year left on his current deal with the option of a further 12 months but the club would be more willing to listen to offers for the former Shakhtar Donetsk star at the right price.

While major changes are expected this summer, ten Hag is said to be keen to work with Jadon Sancho, Marcus Rashford, Anthony Elanga and Scott McTominay and improve their fortunes on the training pitch.
