Thibaut Courtois returned to training for Real Madrid again on Wednesday. The Belgian goalkeeper suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his knee that required surgery. And has missed the field for Real Madrid since August of last year.

But on Wednesday, Los Blancos posted training photos showing Courtois joining the team after a long absence. Although at first the famous club from Spain expected Courtois to miss his job for the entire season for sure. But Thibaut Courtois returned to training for Real Madrid again recovery is going better and faster than expected.

As a result, the players have return to fitness. With the club staff and have recently been allowed to practice with the team for some time. But are still under the close supervision of the medical team.

Real Madrid announce the bad news that Thibaut Courtois has sufferer. An anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury and is set to undergo surgery soon.

The 31-year-old goalkeeper was unfortunately injure while preparing for the team during pre-season. Before it was confirm that he had a seriously torn ACL injury. And even shed tears while being carry out of the club’s training ground. 

“Following a physical examination of Thibaut Courtois. The player has been diagnose with a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee. The player will undergo surgery in the next few days,”

With a very serious injury, it is expect that Courtois. Will be ineligible to playing for Real Madrid for the entire 2023/24 new season. There is news that the club may choose to grab David de Gea. Replacement because he is currently a free agent player since his contract with Manchester United expired.
